The DFBgoesGREEN Campaign begins!

On February 23, 2009, at 4:00pm, a small meeting took place in the boardroom of Decatur First Bank. At that small meeting, a BIG IDEA was hatched!

Members of the DFB management team and the DFB marketing committee committed to take Decatur First Bank in a new direction - a GREEN direction. As a result of that commitment, there will be tangible benefits to the environment, to the bank, to our communities, and the the earth!

Decatur First Bank has decided to GO GREEN!

Some of the benefits will be:

• Less paper consumed for printed monthly statements
• Less time spent preparing monthly statements for mailing
• Less expense for postage, envelopes, printing
• Less waste paper in our landfills
• More appropriate trees in our communities
• Stronger community awareness of earth-friendly ideas

At Decatur First Bank, we serve many communities. It is our hope that the Green Campaign will allow the bank to be a better member of the community as well as be a leader in earth friendly activities.
